RYA Wingsurfing Instructor Course (3day)
Ghyll Head is excited to offer the new RYA Wingsurfing Instructor Course! This intensive 3-day program is designed for experienced wingsurfers/wingfoilers who would like to introduce others to the sport of wingsurfing. It comprises 3 days of training with the final day being moderated by an external trainer.
Depending on the forecast our courses are run either on Windermere or Killington Reservoir.
During this course you'll:
- Gain practical on-water training: Hone your wingsurfing skills and learn how to effectively coach others on the water.
- Refine your teaching techniques: Receive expert assessment and feedback on your instructional methods, specifically tailored to wingsurfing.
- Delve into key theoretical concepts: Participate in interactive shore-based sessions covering wingsurfing theory, safety, and teaching strategies.
Prerequisites:
- 16 Years Old+
- RYA Membership
- RYA Powerboat Level 2
- RYA Safe & Fun
- First Aid
- RYA Improve Your Wingsurfing Certificate (or be able to demonstrate a winging standard to this level)
Please note you do not have to be foiling to attend this course.
