RYA Dinghy Level 1 - Start Sailing

Held on the beautiful waters of Windermere, you'll learn the basic skills and knowledge needed to get afloat and start your sailing adventure.

Our experienced RYA instructors will guide you through everything from rigging and launching a dinghy to steering and controlling your boat. You'll learn how to sail in all directions, tack and gybe, and handle your boat safely. We'll also cover essential safety knowledge, including what to do in a capsize. With a focus on practical learning and fun, you'll spend plenty of time out on the water, putting your new skills into practice and building your confidence. By the end of the course, you'll be able to sail independently in light winds and be well on your way to becoming a confident sailor.
